Often, us older people (I'm in my forties) will lament the idea that there is no good music these days. I never buy that idea. It's just an expression of frustration. When you get older, you don't have as much time to dig up the good stuff. You see and hear the crap that is on the video shows, and on the radio, and you become convinced that everything sucks.

A thing to note is, Led Zeppelin was NEVER on TV. David Bowie was rarely on TV. The Stones were on TV maybe twice. And, the radio pretty much played crap back in the seventies, just as the radio pretty much plays crap now.
