Set Free To Live By The Law Of Love

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and (a focus on) occult magic; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like.

I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Galapagos

A song by the Smashing Pumpkins.

Ain't it funny how we pretend we're still a child
Softly stolen under our blanket skies
And rescue me from me and all that I believe

I won't deny the pain, I won't deny the change
And should I fall from grace here with you
Will you leave me too?

Carve out your heart for keeps in an old oak tree
And hold me for goodbyes and whispered lullabyes
And tell me I am still the man I`m supposed to be

I won't deny the pain, I won't deny the change
And should I fall from grace here with you
Will you leave me too?

To late to turn back now
I'm running out of sound
And I am changing, changing
And if we died right now
This fool you love somehow
Is here with you

I won't deny the pain, I won't deny the change
And should I fall from grace here with you
Would you leave me too?
Would you leave me too?

Pay No Attention To That Man Behind The Curtain

What the hell has happened to Charles' voice over there at LGF?

That ain't him writing. You can't fool me.

And, by the way, lest anyone think this post is a criticism of his content. It is not.

Instead, I am saying that, in my opinion, that writing is not his. Someone else is writing those posts.

I hope Charles is ok. Maybe he's just taking a vacation.
